​

 1986 origin: The club formed from the merger of Bloomfield RFC and Lewisham RFC, later bolstered by players from STC RFC, establishing itself on the old cricket pavilion at Plumstead Common’s Old Mill Road (SE18 1QJ) one of the former original grounds of Arsenal FC.
